KOIKOI are one of Southeast Europe’s most exciting emerging acts Since the release of their debut album Calls Aside, the Belgrade-based band has performed more than 180 shows across 17 European countries, building a reputation as a powerful live act through appearances at major European festivals including EuropaVox, Fusion Festival, Exit Festival and InMusic Festival, as well as showcase events such as Eurosonic Noorderslag, Reeperbahn Festival, Waves Vienna, SHIP Festival and SoAlive. At Eurosonic 2023, the band was nominated for the Music Moves Europe Awards, recognising them among Europe’s 15 most promising emerging artists. KOIKOI’s live performances have attracted growing international attention. Following their recent Focus Wales appearance, Under the Radar’s Dom Gourlay described the band as “another of this year’s must-see acts”, while Rolling Stone UK, reviewing the band’s performance at SHIP Festival 2025, praised their “electrifying sound and fully-charged concert volume”. In 2026, the band appears on the line-ups of major European festivals including Sziget Festival, Pohoda Festival, Electric Castle, Sea Star Festival, Sofia Live Festival and Iceland Airwaves. With a sold-out 1,500-capacity headline show in Belgrade and a rapidly growing presence on the European live circuit, KOIKOI are entering their strongest international chapter yet.
