1. About us

Looge is operated by Looge Ltd., a company registered in England and Wales (company number: 17304881), with its registered address at Suite RA01, 195–197 Wood Street, London, E17 3NU. References to “Looge”, “we”, “us”, and “our” in these Terms refer to Looge Ltd.

2. Accepting these Terms

By creating an account on Looge or otherwise using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

3. Our service

Looge is a free cultural listings platform for the UK. We bring together event information from independent venues — including cinemas, theatres, music venues, galleries, and cultural institutes — most of it read from the programmes venues publish on their own websites, some of it sent to us by venues directly. We make it available to browse, search, and save, and link each event back to the venue. We do not sell tickets and are not an event organiser.

Looge includes AI-powered features including natural language event search, weekend planning, cultural journeys, and city briefings. Some internal editorial/admin tools also use AI to classify events, score taste fit, draft newsletters, and suggest venue tags. Inputs you submit to these features, together with limited event and venue data, may be processed by a third-party AI provider (Anthropic). Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details of what data is shared and how it is handled.

4. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without authorisation.
• We may suspend or close your account if you misuse the service or breach these Terms.

5. Event listings

Event information on Looge comes from venues’ published programmes and from venues directly, and may be subject to change without notice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any listing. Events may be cancelled, postponed, or altered at the venue’s discretion. Always verify details directly with the venue before attending.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Looge in any way that violates applicable UK or international law or regulation.
• Scrape, copy, reproduce, or redistribute our content in bulk without our written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, servers, or databases.
• Use automated tools to create accounts or submit data.
• Use the service to transmit spam, malware, or unsolicited communications.
• Impersonate another person or organisation.

7. Intellectual property

An updated section 7 takes effect on 28 September 2026. Until then the previous section 7 applies; you’ll find it at the end of this section.

7.1 Looge’s rights. The Looge name, logo, platform design and editorial content — including collections, curator notes, city briefings, lineage and passport copy — and the selection and arrangement of the Looge listings are the intellectual property of Looge Ltd. Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence to reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from that content without our prior written consent.

7.2 Content you send us, and the licence you give.Content that you, or someone acting for you, send to Looge directly — by spreadsheet upload, through a venue account, or by email — remains yours. That includes event descriptions, images, venue information and programme data. By sending it, you give Looge Ltd. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence. It lets us host, store, reproduce, resize, reformat, excerpt, index, classify and display the content to run and promote Looge, including in newsletters, editorial collections and social posts, and lets our service providers process it for us for those purposes. The licence lasts while the content is listed on Looge and for a reasonable period afterwards for archive and editorial reference; newsletters and posts already sent are not recalled. This section does not cover information we collect from venues’ published programmes, described in section 5.

7.3 What you confirm.You confirm that you own the content you send us, or hold every right and licence it needs, and that our use of it as set out in 7.2 will not infringe anyone else’s rights. This matters most for images: if you send us a photograph you did not take, you confirm you hold a licence that allows third parties such as Looge to use it to list and promote your event. If you find that something you sent us may infringe someone’s rights, tell us promptly at [email protected] so we can remove or replace it. You give this confirmation when you send content through a venue account, or when you confirm it to us in writing.

7.4 If you think content on Looge infringes your rights. Our rights pageexplains how to tell us. We review every notice promptly and remove or replace content where the claim is well founded. Many images on Looge come from venues’ own websites; where an image does, we will tell you which venue published it, so you can also raise it with them.

Previous section 7, in force until 28 September 2026. The Looge name, logo, and platform design are the intellectual property of Looge Ltd. Event descriptions, images and other content originating from venues remain the property of their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Looge is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales, Looge Ltd. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service, including any loss arising from inaccurate event information.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

9. Third-party links

Looge links to venue websites and external ticketing platforms. We have no control over those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of Looge after changes come into effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
