Forging a career over four decades in countless genres, Devin Townsend has reached cult status in the progressive-metal world for his polymathic talent and continual pushing of the envelope. In 2025, after a career including iconic performances at Royal Albert Hall and multiple world tours, Townsend announced an indefinite hiatus from touring. Having then delivered the live debut in Groningen of ‘The Moth’, his most ambitious work to date, it was only natural to need a break. Townsend returned home to complete the studio album of ‘The Moth’ (out 29th May on InsideOut Music) and to rebuild himself in preparation for the next stage. According to Townsend; “The Moth feels like the culmination of all my musical experiences and my journey in life so far. For a decade and a half, Grace Petrie has been one of the UK’s most urgent and passionate songwriters. Coming of age amidst the coalition government, her politically charged folk music quickly gained national attention and propelled her to the main stages of folk festivals from Cambridge to Vancouver to the Blue Mountains of Australia. Characterised by razor-sharp lyricism and the unmistakable passion of her stage presence, her live shows have become synonymous for fans with a unique atmosphere of hope and solidarity, while the LGBTQ anthem Black Tie has racked up 1.5 million streams and provided the soundtrack of expression for young queer folks all over the world. An irrepressible live performer, Grace has toured relentlessly to build loyal audiences in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada, as well as providing tour support for Billy Bragg, Frank Turner and Emmy-winner Hannah Gadsby. She has appeared on ITVX, Channel 4, Sky Arts, BBC Radio 2’s Folk Show and been a regular guest on The Guilty Feminist podcast, and has performed live BBC sessions for Tom Robinson (BBC 6 Music) and Jo Whiley (BBC Radio 2). The release of 2024’s album ‘Build Something Be er’, produced by Frank Turner, topped the UK’s Official Folk Album Chart and cemented her place as one of Britain’s most respected independent artists. David Duchovny has spent the last decade steadily building a body of work as a songwriter and recording artist, working with a small and dedicated group of musicians and friends.
