Friday night with Wayne Wayneson & The Whisky Kissers, a powerhouse band of seasoned musicians (who are all women and non-binary people in moustaches), embodying the swagger, ego, and grit of classic male country stars. Through electrifying performances, they channel the world of whiskey-soaked honky-tonks, heartbreak anthems, and absurd, over-the-top machismo. Support comes from The Sonic Joy Orchestra, an explosive blend of clowning and musical joy. A comedy, clown, drag king character, Wayne Wayneson is multi-platinum, Grammy-winning country-rock icon. Once the untouchable symbol of musical masculinity, Wayne became a relic of excess, stumbling through life fuelled by cheap whiskey and outdated bravado. But he’s got a plan: a comeback.
