Join us for a family film each morning of the October holidays! This screening is part of our Wee Filmhouse on Holiday series - films aimed at children and families, but everyone is welcome! On Monday 12th, Wednesday 14th, and Friday 16th, join us after the film for some drop-in Wallace and Gromit inspired family crafts. Wallace & Gromit: A Grand Day Out Wallace and his sophisticated dog Gromit, have to decide where to go for their annual picnic. With a home-made rocket and large appetite they head for the moon, hoping to find it made of cheese. Their moon tasting arouses the anger of the moon’s resident, mechanical caretaker. In the conflict that ensues the earthlings unwittingly help the robot to fulfil its dreams. Wallace & Gromit: A Close Shave Love blossoms in the course of Wallace and Gromit’s latest business, the Wash ’n’ Go Windowcleaning Service, when they are called out to clean the windows of the attractive Wendolene Ramsbottom. Little do they know that a lamb, Shaun is hiding in their house after escaping from the clutches of evil sheep rustlers. Preston, the monstrous dog-butler who lives with Wendolene hatches a plot to steal the blueprints for Wallace’s latest invention, the Knitomatic machine. Preston adds a mincing device to the washing, shearing and knitting contraptions and schemes to install the new contraption in his dog-food factory. Gromit is on the trail, but before he can alert the love-struck Wallace to these dastardly plans he is framed by Preston and receives a life sentence for sheep abductions. Will this be the end of one of one of the most successful comic partnerships of all time, or will Wallace succeed in his attempt to save Gromit and bring the real culprit to justice?
