Join us for the penultimate lunchtime concert of 2026 with the exceptional pianist Tim Horton. Tim Horton ( @timwh61 ), one of today’s outstanding pianists, and hailed by Arts Desk for his ‘unaffected, heartfelt playing’, is a founder member of both the Leonore Piano Trio and Ensemble 360. He has played concertos with several leading orchestras including with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra conducted by Sir Simon Rattle. Tim recently completed his cycle of concerts at the Wigmore Hall London featuring a selection of Chopin’s works interspersed with pieces by composers who influenced the composer and were in turn influenced by him, and embarks on a new Beethoven cycle for Music in the Round at the Crucible in Sheffield later this year. He is regularly broadcast by BBC Radio 3 Programme to include: Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) Piano Sonata no. 2 in A major, op. 2, no. 2 Piano Sonata no. 23 in F minor, op. 57, Appassionata The next lunchtime concert is on Thursday 10 December and will be performed by the Leonore Piano Trio. Join the LSE Choir and Orchestra on Tuesday 8 December for the LSE Christmas Concert in the beautiful surroundings of St Clement Danes
