Jane Austen wrote the beginning. Laura Wade wrote the rebellion. Emma Watson is young, beautiful, and back in the marriage market. But just as the suitors start circling, the story hits a dead end. Jane Austen has abandoned the manuscript, leaving Emma stranded in a half-finished world… The solution? Enter Laura, the modern-day playwright who steps into the 19th century to finish the job. As the boundaries between creator and character collapse, a battle for control begins.
