Screened in tribute to Tim Curry (1946 - 2026) When a flat tyre leaves innocent young sweethearts Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon) stranded on a stormy night, they are forced to seek shelter in a nearby castle. But the castle belongs to mad-scientist-and-transvestite-alien-from-the-planet-Transsexual-in-the-galaxy -of-Transylvania, Dr Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry), whose latest creation (the titular muscleman Rocky Horror) will drive Brad and Janet (et al) to distraction... Adapted by Richard O’Brien from his own musical stage production, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, is a glam Ortonesque take on the horror and sci-fi b-movies from 1930s, and Tim Curry's screen debut is his most iconic - and arguably greatest - role.
