About this event
Commissioned by an anonymous patron, Mozart threw himself into what is arguably his most beloved work. From the sorrowful lamentations of the Lacrimosa to the intense Dies Irae, it’s a work that pulses with emotion, transcendental beauty, and grips from start to finish. Mozart died before completing his masterpiece. How much is his own writing is unknown – Beethoven had the final word on this matter: ‘If Mozart did not write the music, then the man who wrote it was a Mozart.’ Featuring: Soprano Hannah Dienes-Williams Mezzo Bethany Horak Hallett Tenor Hugo Brady Bass Peter Edge
