About this event
Relaxed performances are open to all, and created for people who may find coming to the theatre challenging. This may include people who are neurodiverse or who have a sensory, learning, communication or mobility need. Adaptations are made front of house and to the staging to create an atmosphere where everyone feels safe and is able to enjoy the show. For those with access needs or simply if you'd prefer a performance with a more relaxed atmosphere, this performance of The Nutcracker is for you. The performance comprises a 15-minute introduction to the characters and the story followed by an adapted performance of Sir Peter Wright’s production from which some elements have been cut so that the performance is 1 hour 45 minutes long.
