Carrie Coon has never been better than she is as Rita, who lives an ‘ordinary’ life as a bank teller, wife and mother. But beneath the veneer of this seemingly ordinary life, she hides the deep trauma of being a holocaust survivor. When she falls into the orbit of the seductive Ricki (a compelling Lily James), Rita finds the space to heal. But at what cost to her family?
