The Feministas An evening of live music to liberate the soul, celebrating the women’s bands of the 1970s/80s. Parts of Chats50 celebrations Featuring Diane McLoughlin: Saxes and accordion Deirdre Cartwright: Guitar Alison Rayner: Bass Michele Drees: Vocals & percussion Plus very special guest Carol Grimes. These incredible musicians all started out on musical careers in the late 70s and early 80s, in bands such as The Guest Stars, Hi Jinx, Candela, Di’s New Outfit, and many were playing Chats Palace back in Chats first decade or so
