Tanita Tikaram curates a night of female solidarity and song — a fundraising evening for the women of Gaza, with very special guests: Juliet Stevenson with Asmaa Azaizeh, Alice Russell, Rasha Nahas, Jacqui Dankworth, Filament Choir led by Osnat Schmool, Singing Resistance London and a band led by Charlie Wood. This isn't just a gig. Every ticket sold helps to restart a life-saving breast cancer screening programme at Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City - a hospital that has stayed open through the war despite being hit 8 times, and that Amos Trust has supported for over 30 years. Women in Gaza are three times more likely to die from breast cancer than women in the UK. This is In Her Hands: Amos Trust's campaign standing with them, a night where music does something real. Come for songs from one of the great British songwriters, Stay for solidarity that means something.
