summerblink [sʌmərblɪŋk] is a queer hyperdreampop event, connecting the dots between the danceable end of dreampop/shoegaze and the dreamier side of hyperpop/alt-pop. Named after a Cocteau Twins song (and Scottish Nautical slang for a gleam of sunshine on a dreary day), the event will feature a continous mix of songs by the Cocteau Twins, My Bloody Valentine, underscores, Caroline Polachek, Jane Remover, Kate Bush, Bassvictim, Tamaryn, Lucy Bedroque, Quiet Light, The Sundays, SOPHIE etc.
