NEW ROOTS PRESENTS - STEVE DAGLEISH DOES DYLAN: The quintessential folk singer-songwriter, Steve Dagleish’s style follows a long line of great British folk artists, from Roy Harper to John Martyn, Nick Drake, and beyond. After a sold-out, full-band ‘Dylan Goes Electric’ show last November, Steve returns to the Green Note for a stripped-back, solo tribute to his favourite songwriter. This isn’t an attempt at a carbon copy. It’s about the vibe and verve of that defiant moment Dylan plugged in his guitar and changed music forever. Raw vocals. Razor-sharp storytelling. . Expect the anthems and the deep cuts, and above all the songs that made Dylan both a prophet and a ‘Judas’ - timeless songs delivered with honesty and fire.
