Spotlight Unsigned is a new grassroots live music showcase created in partnership with Play One We Know (POWK), designed to shine a light on the best emerging and unsigned bands. This first Spotlight Unsigned brings together Silver Tongued Rascals, Midnite Pharmacy and more bands for an intimate 200-capacity show, followed by a DJ set. Silver Tongued Rascals : Social Commentators with Dance-floor Detonators. A project born out of both jubilation and frustration of the current state of Life. Like a paradox, it’s not ignoring the struggle but also taking time to celebrate our time on this planet, to nail the common feeling of current day society. Part club night cultural narration, they aim to build a movement centred around joy and feel-good energy! Midnite Pharmacy is a live electronic act formed by Liam Jones and Si Martin who met in Leeds. Their music takes heavy influence from electronic, indie, house and techno. They perform live as a two-piece band, sequencing and playing multiple instruments between them.
