, open and bookable in advance. The title sounding towards – – remains intentionally unfinished. It asks what kinds of collectivities can emerge through shared acts of listening and convening, a sounding towards something we cannot yet fully materialise, but can begin to rehearse. Who’s coming? Running in tandem, a new public programme, opens ears to how memory and imagination are carried sonically. Titled songs these jaws cannot hold , it will trace songs and sounds that are disappearing, alongside those that bear witness to disappearance. Instruments generously provided by Jas Musicals.
