In this talk at the RSC, Burlington House, London, Dr Arash Badakhsh, will discuss his novel HyWand™ reactor technology for hydrogen production and compare it with existing technologies such as steam methane reforming, plasma, fluid bed pyrolysis, and electrolysis. Hydrogen is a fuel source that will enable energy distribution and storage, large scale industries and support the intermittency of renewables. Dr Badaksh will outline a vision for a hydrogen economy where clean molecules and advanced materials are created side-by-side. HyWand™ combines clean low-cost hydrogen generation with the production of high value synthetic graphite and carbon nanotubes. The talk, starting at 6.30pm on Tuesday 23 rd November 2026 in the Science Room at Burlington House, will be followed by a Q and A session. It will be an opportunity to network with the speaker and other attendees in an after talk wine reception. There will be a small charge to cover the cost of the meeting and the refreshments.
