Siskin Green – Living in the Echo
Cottiers93-95 Hyndland Street
Tomorrow · 19:30 · £20
About this event
Siskin Green are a contemporary Scottish folk trio, drawing on themes of faith, feminism and justice. They have developed a loyal following across the UK, with listeners drawn to their distinctive blend of fiery protest songs, wistful re-imagined hymns, and original songs – presented in lush vocal harmony with evocative folk instrumentation. Their live performances are known for their warmth – with weighty themes leavened by a shared ability to see the funny side of things! They are excited to be launching their second album at this event: lovingly crafted songs exploring themes of doubt and faith, vulnerability and strength, women’s voices and values echoing through generations. The concert will also feature acclaimed Scottish musician Amy Duncan on double bass.
