Following a packed event in March – which covered Chuck Norris , Superman, the new Moana trailer, a local female comedy group, the BFI, Peaky Blinders, people randomly shouting out Hudson Hawk, and a lectern that nearly fell over – Simon Brew returns to the Mockingbird for more of his live shows! The idea is a 90-minute live show for film nerds, where Simon pokes fun at films, celebrates cinema, goes very geeky, hopefully talks to a local filmmaker or two, and then gives away absolutely money can buy prizes. It’s him at a microphone, with a load of clips, too many slides, and waaaaaaay too much caffeine. Nothing could go wrong! Simon Brew is a multi-award-winning film nerd from Birmingham.
