Ramón y Cajal: drawings on the retina A documentary about the Nobel Prize-winning scientist from Aragon that explores, from a contemporary perspective, his fascination with images. Offering a new approach that brings together the artistic and scientific dimensions of his life and legacy, the film is told through the experiences and perspectives of researchers, artists, historians, family members and other experts who see Cajal as a visionary whose influence transcends the boundaries of science. In one of the laboratories featured in the film, a machine attempts to answer the final question that obsessed Cajal: how are images formed in the brain? Screening organised in collaboration with the Society of Spanish Researchers in the UK (SRUK/CERU).
