Introducing Sanctuary, a series created by Matthew Barley, where listening becomes a shared act of reflection and gathering. Step into our Hall, listen deeply, let your imagination wander, or simply rest and restore. In A Turning Leaf , cellist Matthew Barley, pianist Mishka Rushdie Momen and The Purcell Singers are joined by solo dancers from The Royal Ballet in a candlelit experience where music and movement are intertwined. From the deep spirituality of Arvo Pärt to music by J.S. Bach, John Cage and more, the programme traces a path through stillness, transformation, and wonder.
