Róisín Tapponi & Amelia Abraham: Scene City In Scene City , Róisín Tapponi’s debut novel, Romy, an art history student, is committed to a headlong and accelerating pursuit of pleasure in the rarefied air of the capital's art scene. With echoes of both Laurence Sterne and Eve Babitz, Tapponi’s novel explores authorship and identity and asks whether the pursuit of meaning can (or should) ever get in the way of a good time. The author will be in conversation with Amelia Abraham, author of Queer Intentions and editor of We Can Do Better Than This .
