George Boomsma – “skilled guitarist, distinctive songwriter and fine singer” (Mark Radcliffe, BBC Radio 2) – makes his debut gig at the Glass Studio, and talks with Ant Miles about his creative inspirations. His sound has been likened to Jeff Buckley, Nick Drake and Ron Sexsmith to name a few… “I write songs mostly about personal stuff – family, relationships, grief, navigating life, mental health, 20-somethings (and now 30-somethings), and anything else that seems to come out as a unsolicited reflection,” he says.
