Tony is a British-born son of Trinidadian parents who struggles to find work and purpose in 1970s London. Caught between his parents’ expectations and his brother’s Black Power activism, his growing disillusionment exposes the realities of racism, identity and belonging. Ové’s groundbreaking drama combines documentary realism with powerful social insight. Restored by the BFI National Archive and The Film Foundation.
