About this event
Screened in tribute to Sam Neill (1947 - 2026) Anna (Isabelle Adjani) tells her husband, Mark (Sam Neill), that she wants a divorce. Suspecting infidelity, Mark hires a private detective, but what he discovers is something far more sinister… Filmed in Berlin in 1980, Żuławski's only English-language film is both a political allegory and a heart-breaking (and quite horrific) exploration of marital breakdown - a film Neill considered “one of the best films I was lucky to be in.”
