About this event
A 45-minute guided session to help you notice the pull of a fresh start and do something with it. Pause is The School of Life at Work’s live series: a guided space to reflect on the emotional side of working life. This month’s session explores the tempting pull of a fresh start: the particular hope that once arrived every September, and rarely arrives on its own now that most of us have left the classroom behind. Many of us might recognise the experience of carrying a version of ourselves well past its natural end, or feeling a vague wish to “start again” without ever making it specific. In this session, we’ll explore The Three Rs: Release, Resolve, Ritualise, a simple tool designed to help you create a small, deliberate fresh start of your own. There’s no pressure to speak or share: you’re welcome to simply listen and reflect. You may leave with a clearer sense of what you’re ready to put down, and a practical tool for intentionally starting again.
