About this event
A 45-minute guided session on the small, specific moments that drive your motivation at work. Pause is The School of Life at Work’s live series: a guided space to reflect on the emotional side of working life. This month’s session explores where motivation at work actually comes from: not a fixed feature of the job, but a handful of specific, recurring moments inside it. Many of us have never stopped to name exactly which of these moments we’re actually chasing, or realised we’re free to go and build more of them in. In this session, we’ll explore the Working Pleasures Profile, a short exercise designed to help you name your own working pleasures, and craft a little more of them into an ordinary week. There’s no pressure to speak or share: you’re welcome to simply listen and reflect. You may leave with a clearer sense of what motivates you, and a practical way of building more of such moments into your work life.
