Based on themes by guitarist Martin Taylor and orchestrated by Guy Barker, Spirit of Django celebrates the legendary jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt. Conducted by acclaimed trumpeter and composer Guy Barker, the concert features Martin Taylor alongside the Guy Barker Big Band and Sinfonia Smith Square, uniting world-class jazz soloists and full orchestral forces. Expect swinging rhythms, lyrical improvisation, lush orchestral colour, and an evening of irresistible musical energy. This concert is part of the EFG London Jazz Festival, Europe’s largest city-wide music festival.
