Martin Hackett is part of Oxford Improvisers, the London Improvisers Orchestra, Le Grand Orchestre de Muzzix of Lille, and the on-line ensemble Blank Canvas Octet. Current projects include the trio ‘Tern’ with Emil Karlsen and Philipp Wachsmann, and as yet unnamed trios with John Bissett and Julian Faultless, and with Phil Morton and Nick Branton. Keisuke Matsui is a guitarist and cellist who plays regularly with the London Improvisers Orchestra, Eddie Prévost’s Workshop group and collaborates with many players on the London improvisation scene. Dave Fowler ‘s musical associates include Alan Wilkinson, Roberto Bellatalla, Harrison Smith, Neil Metcalfe, Elton Dean, Maggie Nicols, Jerry Wigens, Sue Lynch, London Improvisers Orchestra, Ya basta, The Glowering Figs, Jim Dvorak, John Grieve, Marcio Mattos, Neil Metcalfe, Phil Minton, Julia Doyle, Ntshuks Bonga, the Porkestra – the list is endless. He is one of the finest, most responsive, dynamic, listening drummers out there, but far too busy playing and enjoying music to maintain an online presence! Phil Morton : Known as a hardcore free improviser, Mr Morton has been active in the Northern circuit of free improvisation activities since 1997. He himself remains unclear on the labels and descriptions; accidents and treatment, is at all an accident? or crafted treatments shaped by 30 years of practice. A practice grounded in the focused playing in extended relationships with musicians in The Centrifuge Network. His practice may transform the established `guitar` into a sonic object or alternatively reframe objects as musical instruments.
