From the desk of Allison & Busby – the publishing house she co-founded in the 1960s – through her uniquely personal insights on the writers and writing she has championed across more than half a century, writer, editor and publisher Margaret Busby ’s life-work is collected together to tell Part of the Story. This wide-ranging survey of the politics, culture and African diasporic writing has challenged the monocultural make-up of Britain’s publishing industry and positively influenced the depth and diversity of our bookshelves countrywide.
