Lynne Tillman & Aea Varfis-van Warmelo: Cast in Doubt Lynne Tillman’s Cast in Doubt , first published in 1992 and now reissued by Peninsula Press, a group of American and English expatriates, artists, writers, and eccentrics find their home in a quiet town on the island of Crete. A relatively peaceful life of writing, squabbling, drinking and gossip is interrupted by the arrival of a young American woman, brilliant, beautiful, and stubbornly mysterious. Lynn Tillman will be in conversation with writer, poet, and editor at Granta magazine Aea Varfis-van Warmelo whose first novel Attention-Seeking Behaviour is also published by Peninsula.
