Lunchtime Concert | Oleg Shebeta-Dragan and Gunnar Mextorf Friday 23 October 1–1.50pm Elgar Concert Hall, Bramall Free Ukrainian clarinettist, Oleg Shebeta-Dragan joins us as part of his BBC New Generation Artist status, a relationship which will also include a performance with the BBC Symphony Orchestra. In this performance with duo partner Gunnar Mextorf we hear the premiere of a work co-commissioned by the BBC and the Henry Barber Trust, Evgeni Orkin’s Sonnet. Francaix Tema con variazioni Evgeni Orkin Sonnet (world premiere) Lutoslawski Dance preludes Clarke Morpheus, arr. for clarinet Bernstein Sonata for clarinet and piano Please arrive in good time as this concert is recorded live and latecomers will not be admitted. ***** Admission is FREE and unticketed. Doors open at 12.30pm. Please be prompt as admission of latecomers is at the discretion of the venue. Food is NOT permitted in the concert hall. No mobile phones/devices during the performance. Access Information The Elgar Concert Hall is located in The Bramall Music Building. The Bramall Music Building has a café, level access, accessible toilets, baby changing facilities, and power assisted doors.
