Lunchtime Concert | Fibonacci Quartet Friday 9 October 1–1.50pm Elgar Concert Hall, Bramall Free Luna De Mol violin Kryštof Kohout violin Elliot Kempton viola Findlay Spence cello Recognised as one of Europe’s finest young string quartets, the Fibonacci Quartet originally formed at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and have gone on to give critically acclaimed performances and win numerous prizes. They were presented with the quadrennial Merito String Quartet Award at the Konzerthaus in Vienna, as well as being selected as Borletti-Buitoni Trust Artists in 2026. This programme features their own arrangements of Moravian folksongs as a prologue to Janácek’s ‘Intimate Letters’. Mozart String Quartet No.21 in D, K575 Moravian Folk Song Arrangements Janácek String Quartet No.2, ‘Intimate Letters’ ***** Admission is FREE and unticketed. Doors open at 12.30pm. Please be prompt as admission of latecomers is at the discretion of the venue. Food is NOT permitted in the concert hall. No mobile phones/devices during the performance. Access Information The Elgar Concert Hall is located in The Bramall Music Building. The Bramall Music Building has a café, level access, accessible toilets, baby changing facilities, and power assisted doors.
