Spanish accordionist Sofía Ros is rapidly establishing herself as one of the leading accordion players of her generation. J S Bach/Busoni/ Lips Partita for Solo Violin No 2 in D minor, BWV 1004, Chaconne Albéniz/ Gajic Suite Española Op 47, Asturias Tchaikovsky / Ros The Seasons Op 37a October, Autumn Song Paganini / Liszt/ Ros La Campanella Piazzolla / Angelis Fantasie on theme Chiquilín de Bachín Zolotaryov/Ros Rondo Capriccioso In 2025, she was named BBC Radio Scotland Young Classical Musician of the Year, following her solo debut with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and conductor Andrew Gourlay, performing Piazzolla’s Aconcagua Concerto at Glasgow City Halls. She now tours the world giving recitals and has been featured in leading festivals including the Edinburgh International Festival and Switzerland’s 1001 Harmonies Festival. Her work has also been highlighted on BBC Radio Scotland’s Classical Now and BBC Radio 4’s Front Row . Suitable for ages 8+
