Celebrity Traitors finalist, rugby star – and now podcast pioneer Joe Marler brings his hit show ‘Joe Marler Will See You Now’ to Bristol as part of the show’s debut live podcast tour. Together with his co-host and research assistant Jake Bhardwaj – comedian and host of the smash hit live show Not Another Quiz Night and Saturday Night Live’s 5toLive – they welcome a wide variety of celebrity guests into Joe’s ‘practice’, using his acute observational skills to get inside their mind through probing questions and unusual mind games. The result? A scathing moment where Joe and Pete Wicks wildly misjudge each other ages, an arm wrestle with Strongman Eddie Hall and an unexpected moment of connection with Josh Widdicombe about tapering off anti-depressants. This tour will see the duo bring their hit show to life, live on stage – joined by a different famous guest each night – to dive into the complexities of the celebrity mind, combining ludicrous set pieces, and immersive audience participation to deliver something far beyond a typical interview, as well as a must-see peak behind the curtain of the mayhem that goes into making the programme.
