The Jazz Bar's interactive, exciting show of early jazz made especially for children. Followed by a disco. An interactive traditional jazz experience and regular sell-out at The Jazz Bar- with a festive twist for Christmas! Young audiences are welcomed right into the heart of the music as authentic songs burst to life from a live band, with real instruments, lively singing, rhythm and movement. Children don’t just watch- they clap, dance and feel the thrill of a live performance. No nursery rhymes here- expect traditional jazz full of swing and soul, with some Christmas favourites given the jazz treatment too. It’s festive fun that grown-ups get to genuinely enjoy as well. From Scottish Jazz Award winners, it’s a proper gig atmosphere for the whole family - just earlier in the day, and with a little extra Christmas magic. And parents, we’ve got you covered too! With our fully licensed bar, you can sip on your favourite cocktail, enjoy a cold beer, or unwind with a glass of wine while the kids groove to the tunes. We also have an impressive non-alcoholic drink selection. But that’s not all- there’s a 20-minute disco after the show for anyone still needing to party and burn off even more energy! The show consists of two 30min sets with a quick break in between. 20min of disco to follow. Please arrive early- doors open 20 minutes before the show starts.
