James Pearson ‘History of Jazz Piano’ Pianist, composer, and Artistic Director at Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club, James Pearson brings to life the incredible music and stories behind the evolution of jazz piano – from Ragtime to Stride, Boogie Woogie to Big Band and much more! Join this world class jazz pianist as he takes you on a whistle-stop tour through a century of jazz piano greats. Featuring a sparkling collection of numbers celebrating the music from the likes of Jelly Roll Morton, Fats Waller, Art Tatum, George Shearing, Dave Brubeck, Oscar Peterson and many more, this is a show full of anecdotes, wit, and virtuosic piano playing. The event organised by Join us for a drink! The bar is open before and after the performance. Serving until 22:00.
