When Antón Álvarez (“C. Tangana”) meets Yerai Cortés, he becomes completely captivated by his talent and intrigued by his family story. Yerai is an unusual figure within the world of flamenco, respected both by the most traditional Romani flamenco communities and by the avant-garde artists of the new wave to which he belongs. Together, they embark on a journey to record an album whose songs are shaped by profound sorrow. Throughout the creative process, Yerai is confronted with his past and driven to explore a family secret, through which he seeks to reconcile and heal his relationship with his parents. The result is a film that creates a unique musical experience, immersing audiences in a story of passion, love, and forgiveness. Through music and personal revelation, the documentary explores the transformative power of art and the possibility of redemption through understanding and self-discovery.
