About this event
A vibrant short film programme, reflecting the breadth of style and skill in contemporary animation from the UK and around the world. Using immersive sound design, humour and creativity, each of these animations take us on a trip through richly realised worlds. This strand puts women animators at the fore and celebrates themes of courage, imagination, and the patience and dedication inherent in the craft of animation. Laura Tofarides Commando (UK 4 min) Dir. Will Murphy Like Friend, Like De e r (IRN 13 min) Dir. Malek Eghbali A Mourning Star (UK 5 min) Dir. Mat Levent The venue opens at 10:00am for drinks in the bar for a 10:30 start time. Please arrive at 10am to settle in, get a drink and get your seats. Please note, there is no allocated seating!
