SLEAZE Theatre presents Six Kinds of Wednesday written by Scott Slocombe “Dracula meets Withnail & I through a fuzz pedal.” Peckham. Valentine’s Day 1989. A young musician's chance encounter with the girl he's loved since school ends with a promise to run away together. But then, of course, he gets abducted by a vampire with writer's block. A deal is made; help the vampire finish the record he's been writing for over 300 years. Once complete, he'll be returned to the night they met, run away with the girl he loves and carry on his life as if nothing ever happened. Right? SLEAZE Theatre presents a darkly comic play that explores regret, nostalgia, and the dangerous fantasy of rewriting the past. Through an original score performed live by actor-musicians, the play examines creation versus stagnation and the emotional cost of romantic myth.
