About this event
In an inspired collaboration, Capella Edina joins forces with acclaimed indie artist Fink for an unforgettable evening that bridges the intimate world of songcraft and the grandeur of orchestral writing. Fink’s most beloved hits, alongside selections from his forthcoming 2026 album, take on vivid new colour in orchestral arrangements crafted specially for this performance. Interwoven are three resonant classical works exploring shared themes: the cosmos-inspired Lyrae by French contemporary composer Camille Pépin, film composer Michael Hoppé’s evocative Renouncement, and music by Peter Maxwell Davies. Together, they forge a thought-provoking dialogue between contemporary emotion and timeless expression.
