Fast Money Music and Baba Ali at The Social Support from special guest Mackwood With DJ sets from Tom Burkitt and Jamie Reynolds FAST MONEY MUSIC Fast Money Music is solo project of Nick Hinman, an American-born, East London-based musician and producer, molding his love of angular post-punk, playful art-pop, and no wave eccentricity into a world that’s equal parts melody and mischief. Since its inception in late 2022, FMM has released two EPs and a debut album, played shows across the UK and in Paris, seen radio support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Radio X, FIP and RTL2, write ups from SPIN, Flaunt, DIY, Far Out, Clash, and HERO Magazine, and a TV appearance on France24’s Arts24. “Burns with equal parts Blitz Club elegance and dive-bar violence. After moving from NYC to London upon the release of his first EP, Baba Ali began making waves with his electrifying performances and seductive style. Baba Ali ‘s music has featured collaborations with the likes of Jamie Hince (The Kills), Al Doyle (LCD Soundsystem) and Joe Goddard (Hot Chip), and has earned him support from BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio One, a live performance on Later with Jools Holland and live appearances across the UK and Europe.
