Kick off Hogmanay at our New Year’s daytime party! Glamour and The Baybes bring a 6-piece family show full of music and dancing! Start your Hogmanay celebrations early with Glamour & The Baybes in their family-friendly show! This legendary 6-piece party band is bringing their big sound, high-energy performance and festival-level fun to an afternoon slot designed especially for families- because why should the grown-ups have all the good gigs? Expect dancing, singing, and proper Hogmanay vibes at a very sensible hour, long before the road closures, crowds, and midnight madness begin. If you’ve ever wished you could take the kids to a real Hogmanay gig without sacrificing bedtime- this is the one. And parents, we’ve got you covered too! Our fully licensed bar will be open, serving your favourite cocktails, cold beers, and glasses of wine so you can toast the New Year in style. Prefer a booze-free celebration? We’ve got an impressive range of non-alcoholic drinks, so no one misses out on the festive cheer. All the excitement. All the music. None of the midnight meltdowns. The band starts at 2pm and 4.30pm (two 45min sets with a break in between). Please arrive early- doors open 30min before the start time. The important stuff: Please note we’re a basement venue and, due to the historic nature of the building, there’s no disabled access and limited pram storage (all buggies need to be folded down). We’re partially seated, so arrive early for the best chance of a seat. We will all be dancing anyway! A quick note on sound: this is not your average quiet kids’ concert. It’s a full band, and even with our sound engineer keeping levels family-friendly, it’s still a proper show. We recommend this event for ages 2+, and ear protectors are entirely at your discretion — especially for younger or more sensitive ears. Little ones are absolutely welcome, just use your own judgement regarding noise levels- after all you know your child best :)
