Dis Fig + Microplastics

About this event
Known for her intensely physical live performances, Dis Fig dissolves boundaries between audience and performer, using her acrobatic voice and full body to transmit emotional complexity that’s deeper than language. Whether through overwhelming walls of sound or barely audible whispers, her work invites shared vulnerability and collective catharsis. Microplastics is a new live band featuring 96 back, aya and Jennifer Walton. Born of Sunday afternoon Bangface chalet shitchat, Microplastics started with a name and worked backwards. It has already seen a handful of mutations of form and function. Moving from Raucous DJ Troupe through Clandestine Production Powerhouse, it now resides firmly in the territory of Rock Band. This music rings out as the sky rifts in coarsebeam and the endocrine halos. Blithe gestures in the direction of song splinter from the Infrapressure. We also do covers.
