DiBrasspora is an exciting new collective of some of the UK’s finest Klezmer brass and woodwind players re-imagining traditional Klezmer and Moldovan melodies in a modern brass band context, with a strong focus on improvisation and inventive interpretation. Tonight’s event is part of the 2026 EFG London Jazz Festival! Combining a deep collective knowledge and love of this music with an ambition to connect with modern audiences, the band draw both inspiration and repertoire from the likes of German Goldenshteyn, Emil Kroitor and Konsonans Retro. They group includes musicians from bands such as Don Kipper, Raka Balkan Band, Klezmer Foygl, Doikayt, Makam Salam, and The Hop Skotshne Klezmer Band.
