Saturday 19 th September 2026 Co-operative Strangeways Walk Meet outside the CIS front entrance 1.00 Come along and explore a real variety on city centre architecture. Beginning with the CWS estate centred around the CIS and New Century hall. Taking a detour along the Irk Valley to the city's newest urban park at St Catherine's Wood. Then over Cheetham Hill Road to explore the industrial world of Joe Sunlight. [This tour - pre-booked ticket holders only. Members can apply discount at checkout.] Walk will be approximately 2 hours in length - this is an outdoor event and is at the mercy of the weather, please dress accordingly, and take extra care with road traffic and all those other on street hazards! **NB we do not send out tickets for these events - your name will be added to an attendee list. Refunds can only be offered for cancellations made up to seven days before the event**
