Bursting with vibrant choruses and virtuosic duets for two tenors and two sopranos, this remarkable work showcases Vivaldi at his most dramatic and inventive. Conductor David Ogden Brandon Hill Chamber Orchestra Soprano Hilary Cronin Mezzo Soprano Frances Gregory Tenor Gwilym Bowen Tenor Ruairi Bowen Programme Vasks The Fruit of Silence Vivaldi Dixit Dominus RV 807 (Bristol Premiere) Handel Music for the Royal Fireworks Handel Te Deum for the Peace of Utrecht On the eve of Remembrance Sunday , the programme also features two of George Frideric Handel’s most joyful and triumphant works, written to celebrate the end of war and the signing of peace treaties. This will be a night to remember with a choir of 100 singers and a fantastic line up of soloists including virtuosic duets from the superb Bowen brothers. Suitable for ages 8+
