About this event
BLOSSOM TIME In October 2021, a concert celebrating the album 'Blossom Time At Ronnie Scott's' was put on to a sold out crowd at MAP Cafe in Kentish Town. Having met whilst studying jazz at the London conservatoires, the band bonded over a shared love for Dearie's hip, subtle arrangements, effortless piano playing and unique vocal style. Paying homage to the legendary recording's laid back vibe, they also added fresh sounds and stylings of their own - making for an unforgettable night. Now, 5 years later, the band return at the Green Note to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the live recording. Expect an intimate night of classic standard repertoire and witty lyrical tunes from a tight, swinging quartet. Immy Churchill - Vocals Sam Davies - Piano Toby Yapp - Double Bass Dom Hall - Drums Doors open 7.30pm. Music starts 8pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited, and available on a first come first served basis, so if you’d like a seat , we recommend arriving early!
