This year marks the 50th anniversary of her death, so there’s no better time to celebrate her enduring popularity. Host Amanda Ross gets between the covers of Christie with the bestselling author, actor and director, Ben Miller and bestselling author Lucy Foley, who’s been trusted by Agatha Christie Limited to write a brand new Marple novel Murder at the Grand Alpine Hotel, 50 years after Christie’s last Marple adventure was published. They'll talk about their own books, Christie’s influence and share their favourite Christie novels, along with other star guests. James Prichard -The great grandson of Agatha Christie James has fond memories of Agatha Christie growing up, and now serves as the CEO of Agatha Christie Limited, overseeing her literary and media empire, helping to produce blockbuster films, television adaptations, and theatrical productions globally and ensure he maintains her DNA in all that output. He’s worked with Branagh, Suchet, Bonham Carter and more – he’s the oracle on all things Christie and is joining the panel in Birmingham. Jake Lambert Described as ‘a joke machine’ by The Telegraph, Jake Lambert is a rapidly rising stand-up known for his non-stop gag-filled storytelling. His online videos have racked up over 500 million views, building Jake a devoted fanbase. Following three sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, Jake embarked on his very first international tour with his show The Sunshine Kid, playing to sold-out audiences across the UK and globally. He recently announced his first show in the USA at the New York Comedy Festival, which sold out in less than 12 hours.
